Following the close of the DEIR comment period, staff will respond to comments and prepare a Final EIR (FEIR). Revisions to the General Plan in response to public comments also may be considered at this time.

A Final EIR and “Adoption Draft” General Plan will then be presented to the Planning Commission at a duly noticed public hearing. The Commission will consider a resolution recommending City Council adoption of both documents at that time.

The City Council will then consider a resolution to certify the DEIR and adopt the 2045 General Plan.

This process is scheduled to take place from October to December 2026. Please check this website for hearing dates, which will be announced in mid-September.
